Located in Taikoo Li Sanlitun, I.T BEIJING MARKET has become a remarkable fashion landmark in light of the distinctive polka dots design by Rei Kawakubo, since its grand opening on the 30th December, 2010. On 2nd August, 2014, I.T BEIJING MARKET joined international-renowned contemporary artists, Scott Hove and Clemens Behr, recommended by COMME des GARÇONS to enhance the creative space, aiming to create a novel visual experience. This perfect feast combining arts and fashion will be kicked off by a grand cocktail party on Saturday night. Special guests fashion icon Li Yuchun (Chris Li) and Li Ai, Mr. Adrian Joffe, COMME des GARÇONS International CEO, Ms. Deborah Cheng, I.T group Vice-President of Marketing and International Business, various artists, respected guests and fashionistas were invited to join together to preview the brand new look of I.T BEIJING MARKET.
IZZUE x TSINGHUA FASHION DESIGN AWARD 201431.Jul.2014
This year, izzue worked again with Tsinghua Fashion Education for the second edition of “izzue x Tsinghua Fashion Design Award 2014”. The competition was also supported by Academy of Art & Design of Tsinghua University, Hong Kong Design Institute, Parsons The New School for Design, London College of Fashion, Royal College Of Art, University of Salford, Manchester, and École Nationale Supérieure Des Arts Décoratifs. Students from the design schools were invited to participate in the meaningful event, which not only facilitated communications between creative youth worldwide but also offered a platform to unleash their creative juices. After the screening by Tsinghua University and izzue’s design team, 12 contestants from China, United States, United Kingdom and France were shortlisted for the final competition. All the finalists gathered at Tsinghua University and transform izzue’s archive pieces into their unique creation. The prize presentation ceremony was held on July 31 at Tsinghua Visual Art Centre. The models presented the students’ work alongside the Q&A session with the judging panel. Finally, Johanne Dindler from Royal College Of Art was selected as the winner of the Best Design Award while Yilong Wang from Academy of Art & Design of Tsinghua University got the People’s Choice Award.
